We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Veterinarian to join our friendly team at Companion Animal Veterinary Hospital in Dapto, NSW, for a fixed-term position covering maternity leave. This role is for 9 months starting from 22nd November, offering the opportunity to be a part of a supportive and close-knit team providing exceptional care to the local community.

- Position: Part-Time Veterinarian (Maternity Leave Cover)

- Location: Companion Animal Veterinary Hospital, Dapto, NSW
- Roster: Approximately two in three Saturdays (no after-hours work), with flexible part-time hours to suit the successful candidate.
You will be stepping in for our veterinarian, Kate, who is taking time off to welcome a new addition to her family. During this period, you’ll work closely with a team of talented vets, nurses, and support staff, providing high-quality care for companion animals, especially dogs and cats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical and surgical care to pets, focusing on general health checks, vaccinations, diagnostics, and minor surgeries.
- Consult with pet owners, delivering clear and compassionate communication regarding treatment options and care plans.
- Participate in team-based consulting, collaborating with other vets and nurses to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Perform duties approximately two in three Saturdays as part of the regular roster.
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to practice protocols.
- Contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment.
