How often should my dog visit the vet in Dapto?
We recommend an annual wellness check for healthy adult dogs, and twice-yearly visits for senior dogs (generally 7 years and older depending on breed). In NSW we recommend the core C3 vaccine (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus) for all dogs, with optional kennel cough (Bordetella/parainfluenza) vaccination strongly advised if your dog socialises with other dogs, visits boarding facilities, or attends dog parks around Wollongong and the Illawarra. We’ll build a vaccination schedule suited to your dog’s lifestyle during their annual health check.
