Veterinary Nurse in Training

Jasmine has always wanted to understand animals better and help them when they need it. Wildlife holds a special place in her heart, and her experience with WIRES and Certificate III in Horse Care are part of the path that brought her to veterinary nursing.

As a veterinary nurse in training at Companion Animal Veterinary Hospital, Jasmine enjoys building relationships with clients so they feel comfortable asking questions and know there is a team ready to help. She wants families to feel heard and to better understand what their pet is going through. Watching a patient pull through a difficult illness with ongoing support and monitoring remains a reminder of why this work matters to her.

Jasmine first approached CAVH for work placement after hearing it was a great place to learn. She values the supportive team and the opportunities to keep developing her skills—and makes room for plenty of puppy cuddles along the way.
