Companion Animal Vet Hospital remains open for business!
In addition to the changes mentioned in my previous post we have implemented some new social distancing changes that will help us all to stay safe while getting help for your animals.
Limited people/pet
We ask you to limit the number of people that you bring with you for your visit to 1 person per pet. This makes it easier to manage social distancing so we can ensure the 1.5m spacing between people and a maximum of 1 person to 4m²
New Layout
The reception area has been reconfigured to provide more space between people. While waiting you can sit with your pet with adequate space between you and other people. If the reception area is full we may ask you to wait outside or in a room.
New Consulting Routine
Again in order to provide social distancing we may either conduct our initial consult with you in the reception area or within a consulting room with the doors open. In order to examine your animal or give any treatments we will need to take the animal from you and this will be conducted using another team ember where required. Don't worry though it will all be done within site of the consult room so you'll still be able to see what is happening and reassure your precious companion. We're doing our best to stay fear free as much as possible.
Handwashing
In addition to our usual hand washing procedures we ask that you help us out by:
- Using the hand rub supplied at the entrance to the hospital
- Using hand rub prior to using the EFTPOS machine or using the tap option for your card
Thank you
We thank you for your continued patronage during this difficult time. It means we can help you keep your family pets as healthy and happy as possible and additionally means we can continue being there to help you into the future.
